What I love about you...

Weeks 17-20

Five months already! Here are the highlights from the past month...

I Love that you are really filling out and getting some chunk to you :) You've not been to a check up since you were 2 weeks so it's nice to visually see you growing. You are healthy and so precious! I (we all do) Love to kiss on your cheeks!

I Love that you enjoy the piano and listening to your sisters play.  They take you over each day to let you bang on it.

I Love to see Daddy holding you.
You like to rub his beard. He makes you laugh and smile ♥

I Loved spending Hanukkah with you this year, your first!
Sissy learned how to make a Star of David just for you!

We hosted a campground gathering for Hanukkah in the park.
It was freezing so we kept you in the camper and all took turns watching you.
I Love that all the children gladly help with you and actually argue over who gets to hold you.
Often Daddy will announce that it is "his turn and he isn't sharing!"

I Love your new chair and you like it too. Since you are not sitting
up unassisted it's helping you to be more independent.

Here you are listening to one of our favorite musicians and friend Jim Mattson

I Love that you are now reaching out when you want to be held.
Here you are reaching for Daddy!

I Love that when you smile your tongue comes out automatically!

Rebekah was so proud when she rocked you to sleep for the first time.
Gregory was able to get you to sleep another time but I didn't get a photo.

They Love to carry you around all over the house.

Often times the girls will put you in their room on the bed
and entertain you by singing and dancing around the room.
You Love this time with them.

I Love your long eyelashes!

I can't believe I didn't get a single picture of you with Sissy.
She does so much for you each day and is a huge blessing to me.
We took a very long trip to Tennessee/Alabama this month and
Victoria and I kept trading to care for you in the car.  You did very well.
You met Nonnie for the first time when we surprised her while on the trip.

You are still nursing and sleeping well.  I've not introduced you to
any foods yet and probably won't for a while.  I plan to make all your food fresh.

Love that you make each of us so happy.  We all love you very much!

May our Father continue to keep His hand on you and bless you ♥

Scripture and Quotes

"Children are a heritage of YHWH; the fruit of the womb is His reward. As arrows in the hand of a mighty man, so are the children of youth. Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate. " Psalm 127:3-4

The Scriptures teach that debt is a curse and children are blessings; but in our culture, we apply for a curse and reject blessings. Something is wrong with this picture.
