27 weeks

Posted by Stephanie on 11:42 PM
So thankful to finally begin my last trimester! It's true that the second trimester is the best. I felt great, wasn't very big yet and could get around well. All of a sudden I feel huge and I'm tired!! In fact we did a lot of schooling at my bedside this week. I also think I must have pulled something while working in the yard because I've been in a bit of pain. I have vowed to slow down and enjoy the remaining months of this pregnancy. Not sure if I will stick with it with so many projects going around our home but I'm going to try. I had David snap a few shots this morning before our guests arrived for fellowship...

As you can see our little darling has grown :) I've learned to squat instead of bend (since I can't!) I have been earnestly praying for a name. I want Abba to name this blessing and He keeps bringing the same name to my mind and my heart. Upon learning the meaning from a friend I shared with I fell more in love with the name. I'll keep you in suspense a bit longer as I continue to seek confirmation with David. We truly want her Creator to name her!

So that's about it. The nursery has turned into a "play" room so not much progress there. However once our pool is set up and the rest of our garden boxes are complete we will begin preparing our nursery. I am actually looking forward to it because I know how much Victoria wants to be involved. She continues asking when we will begin. I'm blessed by our children's anticipation of our new addition and my husbands constant care and attention to my needs.

Once again, thank you for checking in on me! Much love to each of you!

Beeyouteeeful! Mama AND the baby belly.=) I remember all too well the feeling of losing all that wonderful energy. Maybe try to talk a morning walk to get your energy levels up. Sweet blessings I'm praying for you for your last semester. I pray they will be a sweet memory for you to look back on.

You look lovely Stephanie!

I SO understand the energy dip that is sudden once we reach third trimester!!

At around 27-29 weeks, bubba starts needing more iron and so our iron stores take a huge dip. I am still trying to get mine back up with nettle tea and LOTS of spinach, I may try liquid choropyll, and iron supplements soon, anyways I only mention this in case in your case, that is part of what is contributing to your loss of energy.

I too LOVE naming bubbas, we always seek and pray for the name and always love what He leads us too :)

Luv Donna

Hi precious friends- thank you for your sweet words :) I have my liquid chlorophyll in the fridge and have been walking in the evening with the family. We have spinach in our garden that is coming up. Prayerfully the energy will return!

Much love to you all!!!

Scripture and Quotes

"Children are a heritage of YHWH; the fruit of the womb is His reward. As arrows in the hand of a mighty man, so are the children of youth. Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate. " Psalm 127:3-4

The Scriptures teach that debt is a curse and children are blessings; but in our culture, we apply for a curse and reject blessings. Something is wrong with this picture.
