We Have A Name

We have prayed diligently for our baby girls name. All of our children are named after someone and are special in meaning. We knew we wanted a Hebrew name but I also desired a feminine name. I have taken liberty to change the common spellings and make them unique. I couldn't decide on adding the Y in Moriah but after seeing it spelled out, what stood out to me was "YAH" and I had immediate confirmation in my spirit. Praise Yah for answered prayers!

With all my heart I will endeavor to set her apart to the Most High knowing He has chosen her for a purpose. May David and I humbly and diligently teach her of His ways so that she will walk in them all of her days.

Moriyah-
 \m(o)-riah\ as a girl's name is pronounced moh-RYE-yah. It is of Hebrew origin
Moriah h4179 מוריה Mowriyah
Moriah = "chosen by Jehovah/YaHWeH"
-the place where Abraham took Isaac for sacrifice
-the mount on the eastern edge of Jerusalem on which Solomon built the temple
מוֹרִיָּה

Elyse-
A short form of Elizabeth, from the Hebrew for "pledged to God."
Elise-/eh-LEES/ as a girl's name is a variant of Elisa (Hebrew), Elizabeth (Hebrew) and Elysia (Latin), and the meaning of Elise is "God's promise; set apart for God."

Scripture and Quotes

"Children are a heritage of YHWH; the fruit of the womb is His reward. As arrows in the hand of a mighty man, so are the children of youth. Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate. " Psalm 127:3-4

The Scriptures teach that debt is a curse and children are blessings; but in our culture, we apply for a curse and reject blessings. Something is wrong with this picture.
